- A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a City-based Global Trading House for a Credit Risk Analyst at senior-level with sound commodities experience. Working within the Risk Department, the successful candidate will have previous corporate / FI credit analysis experience with exposure to and understanding of commodities products to include commodities futures & options, LME forwards and OTC precious metals products.
Responsibilities include:
- Proactively undertake the credit risk analysis and monitoring of the business and escalating significant credit risk issues to Management
- Assess the credit risks and financial strength of new and existing counterparties
- Attend client meetings domestically and internationally
- Negotiate and administer the exchange of corporate/bank guarantees, netting agreements, Standby Letters of Credit and other credit support documentation used to mitigate counterparty risk.
- Assist with account documentation (e.g. terms of business/trading and client agreements) from a credit risk mitigation perspective
- Assist with credit risk management-related projects.
