- Description
- Due to rapid expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen within this boutique property lender based in London for an experienced CREDIT UNDERWRITER. The successful candidate will be responsible for underwriting all new BRIDGING & PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT FINANCE applications in line with the company lending policy, with a particular focus on bridging.
Duties:
- Responsible underwriting all deals in line with the company credit company
- Handling broker calls on specific cases under review
- Make AIP decisions for sales and support to communicate to brokers
- Liaising with solicitors; decisions on deals/update pipeline
- Involved in the completion/redemption process
- In addition any candidates with knowledge of short
- Underwrite and approve loans against agreed lending criteria
- Handling broker calls on specific cases under review; manage customer expectations
- Liaising with internal departments (Legal, Risk and Sales) and external parties (Surveyors, Solicitors and Customers) to effectively manage the lending process
- Candidates MUST have proven working experience within the Bridging and / or Development Finance sector and will previously have held an underwriting mandate.
