TO £65k BENS + BONUS
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Underwriter to join one of the fastest growing ‘Challenger’ banking groups based in London. Sitting in the 2nd line of Defence Credit Risk Team - the successful candidate will be responsible for transactional underwriting of facilities covering a broad spectrum of SME/commercial borrowers encompassing residential and commercial real estate (development, investment and short term lending) & Asset Finance.
Duties:
- Credit analysis and recommendation of facilities covering a broad spectrum of SME/commercial borrowers
- Analysis of new and existing propositions, make suitable recommendations to senior management and/or Transactional Credit Committee and operate a personal delegated lending authority.
- Support the monitoring, review, analysis and reporting of credit risk at a case and portfolio level and supporting in the ongoing review and development of the credit risk management framework and credit risk policies.
