DEPUTY HEAD OF LOAN SERVICING & OPERATIONS

£80K + BENS + BONUS

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within one of the fastest growing specialist banks in Central London for a Deputy Head of Loan Servicing and Operations to join them on a permanent basis. The purpose of the role is to drive continuous operational improvement within specialist Mortgage and Loan Operations through the analysis of MI in order to make data-driven decisions. The successful candidate must have a deep knowledge of lending and property development and will also play a key managerial role within the company.

Key responsibilities include:

• Management and oversight on all operational and compliance projects within the specialist mortgages and property development team - ie. To take the lead on system testing, resolution of Operational Risk Issues and Procedure design / implementation
• Establish, measure and make key recommendations from a range of MI / Data Analytics
• Ensure that the Bank’s Credit Policy and the PD Lending Procedures are being adhered to within the Division.
• Develop relationships and liaising with key stakeholders
• Ensuring that there is accurate recording of the Bank’s systems and operational processes and overlook reporting.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills with the ability to liaise with staff up to Board level and the strength of character to influence other and challenge ideas
• Use best practice business tools to document business process models

• Overview management of the PD Team Incident Log and ensure that any elevated risks are identified, reported and addressed.
• Review of due diligence and authorisation of files

The correct candidate should have first-hand experience of property lending from an origination and credit perspective as well as being a fantastic communicator and being able to manage a team. The correct candidate should also be comfortable with the Training and development of staff in PD in conjunction with other departmental managers.
