A newly created opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Underwriter to join one of the fastest growing specialist banking groups in London. The successful candidate will be required to support the property underwriting team in setting up new files, producing documentation, liaising with solicitors/valuers/surveyors and general assistance in completing new lending deals. Candidates with bridging and development finance experience would be at a distinct advantage. This is a great opportunity to develop your career and become a mandated underwriter within a short space of time.
Duties to include:
" Ensure that all procedures/manuals are maintained accurately and documented accordingly to the company's guidelines
" Preparing documentation
" Assisting the completions team
" Build strong working relationships all parties involved in the mortgage origination process
" Ensure the financial and regulatory requirements are maintained and up to date.
Candidates must have Underwriting/Credit exposure in a property lending environment whether it be residential, commercial, buy to let, bridging or development. There is massive potential for growth with this opportunity.
