- A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Team Assistant / Secretary to join the Events Team of an award winning law firm in the City on a contractual basis of 12 months to cover maternity. The successful candidate will have excellent organisation skills, attention to detail and be able to manage multiple tasks with changing deadlines"Full administration for the department. This includes supporting the Events Team in all aspects of planning and delivery in line with best practice to provide assistance with structured briefings, management of timelines, delegate management"Managing the Events Schedule and bookings"Manage the Events Team inbox"Coordination of post-event feedback and evaluation"Assist the team with production of event materials including name badges, place cards, menus etc."Assist the team onsite at events including guest registration, set up and pack up, meeting and greeting of talent or speakers and general onsite duties."Support Events Team diary management, expenses, budget spreadsheet, assisting with meeting preparations, preparing packs and schedules for events and meetings."Supporting the events team with logistical and administrative support."Coordinating meetings with AV, Catering, Facilities and Technologies teams and keeping them updated on bookings and requirements"Proactive delegate management collating guest lists, track and update responsesTo be considered for this role applicants must have previous Team Admin / secretarial experience, ideally gained within an Events Team or venue bookings environment, together with strong IT skills including. Excellent organisation skills and the ability to juggle several tasks and work to deadlines is essential.
