- A fantastic opportunity has arisen at well established and prestigious London based International Bank for a SENIOR BRANCH ACCOUNTANT to take full ownership of the UK finance function. The successful incumbent will be ACCA/ACA/CIMA QUALIFIED with previous banking experience across all areas of accounting from reconciliations and budgeting to liquidity and regulatory reporting:
Key responsibilities:
- Manage Audit trail, Fixed Assets Register
- Review accounts and investigate exception accounts
- Control Management / Head Office reports
- Nostro reconciliation
- Oversee team activity for General Ledger accounts
- Prepare, approve and check monthly returns and year end general preparations
- Manage breakdowns and variance analysis of operating expenses and revenues
- Oversee processing and paying of invoices
- Record keeping
- Liaising with internal and external personnel vis-à-vis compliance, auditing, tax
