- A Global trading house based in the City have an exciting opportunity for a SENIOR DATA ENGINEER. The successful candidate will efficiently extract raw data from a variety of sources. They must have full comprehension of system protocol and data flow, be interested in emerging technology, and be passionate about software and automation work.
Candidates applying will have:
- The ability to demonstrate significant ability within software development, as well as thorough knowledge of existing technology.
- Experience in testing and inspecting software solutions, and drawing results comprehensively and clearly in reports and through calculations.
- The ability to lead team collaboration over long-term plans and projects, particularly pertaining to data empowerment, operations efficiency and sustainability.
- Proficiency in programming Java, C# or Python, database technology (like MSSQL), and document databases (such as MongoDb, Dynamo Db, Casandra).
- Experience in containers, microservices, distributed systems architecture, orchestrators and cloud computing.
- Either a Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience in a technical discipline.
- Ease in communicating.
