- Global city-based trading house requires two Regulatory Reporting Analysts to strengthen their Regulatory Operations Team for a period of six months. Regulatory Reporting Analysts plays a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of trading activity through the supporting of compliance with financial regulatory reform. This role will provide the successful applicants with a great opportunity to further develop their market knowledge in a fast-growing sector where your work will have substantial impact.
These roles support regulatory requirements across a wide-range of asset classes, undertaking mandatory regulatory reporting and other requirements on behalf of the business. The roles also lead assist with the implementation of changes and new regulatory reporting requirements as well as providing regulatory assurance for new business activities.
The primary functions include:
- Undertake regulatory reporting activities currently stemming from EMIR, MIFID and CFTC
- Assurance of financial regulatory reform compliance for new activities undertaken by the business.
- Review and develop controls for regulatory reports
- Supporting projects in meeting regulatory requirements and related process changes, working with all impacted stakeholders
- Conduct ongoing assessment of the regulatory environment ensuring adherence with reporting obligations
- Review of daily submissions for accuracy
Role requirements:
- Strong understanding of the regulatory environment and awareness EMIR, MIFID AND CFTC regulations
- A sound knowledge of the financial markets across a broad range of asset classes
- Good process improvement skills, project management experienceand an understanding of how the compliance function interacts with operations
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Advanced IT skills
- Ability to manage priorities and deliver under pressure
- Ability to drive continuous improvement and standardisation
