- Long-term contract! A position has arisen within a city-based private bank for a Custody Transfers Analyst on a 17-month contractual basis. Working as a member of the Operations team you will ensure the accurate and timely processing of Free of Payment Transfers, ensuring completion of other assigned tasks on a daily and periodic basis, including reconciliations and investigation and resolution of queries. The successful candidate will also be required to communicate with customers and third parties. Duties to include:
· Processing of free transfers of securities into / out of client portfolios.
· Regular liaison with Clients/ Counterparties to ensure that transactions are booked correctly and settled on a timely basis
· Act as a point of contact for Client queries in relation to custody positions and transfers and providing regular updates on the progress or otherwise on the resolution of their issues.
· De-materialisation and re-materialisation of shares
· Assisting with the monthly reconciliation of security positions held, investigating discrepancies between in-house records and those of custodians
· Acting as a point of contact for queries from within the business
· Assisting with the training of new-starters
To be considered candidates for this role candidates will have:
· Previous recent relevant custody transfers experience
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Good system skills
