- A new opportunity has opened up for a Legal & Governance Assistant within a global insurance specialist group based in the City of London. The successful incumbent will support the legal department in drafting documents and reports, preparing correspondence for the holding company board, as well as subsidiaries. The accompanying administration will fall to the Assistant, as well as any ad hoc administrative duties.
Duties will also include:
- Maintaining records.
- Research and reviewing tasks as necessary for the Legal and Compliance personnel.
- Research tasks for corporate governance relating to the company’s business.
- Degree level or equivalent.
- Legal and administrative experience.
- Numerical and analytical.
- Organised with attention to detail.
- IT fluency.
- Written and verbal communication.
- Experience in financial services (desirable).
- Interest in environmental affairs/ risk monitoring.
