- A City-based global trading house is recruiting for an Office Manager to oversee the running of their London office, serving as the first point of enquiry for the London team. The successful candidate will:
- Distribute projects for the administrative team, ensuring that they run smoothly to completion.
- Manage budgets.
- Monitor contracts for all facilities, maintenance and general services.
- Have input into event planning and organisation as necessary.
- Greet visitors and monitor the switchboard, including room booking.
- Organise travel details, booking couriers, ordering office supplies.
- Training junior staff and working with HR with the recruitment of new staff / cover.
- Assisting with visa applications
- Oversee service contracts, facilities and health and safety issues and liaising with building management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
- Previous office management experience.
- Ideally educated to degree level, or the equivalent
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Experience with budgeting, decision-making.
- Experience managing staff (desirable).
- Financial services experience (desirable).
- IT literacy.
- Personable traits; friendly, articulate, open.
