- A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Equity Fund Analyst working for this Market Leader within Asset Management based in Central London. The successful candidate will conduct fund research, focusing on equity, and will aid the construction of model portfolios. They will analyse and contribute to Model Fund list and recommended list. Candidates must be CFA qualified.
Duties / responsibilities:
- Provide analysis and recommendations to manager research team, particularly pertaining to long only equity managers.
- Maintain due diligence documentation.
- Liaise with and provide support to investment councillors.
- Contribute written fund comments.
- Adhere to all relevant legislation.
- Monitor a group of fund managers, interviewing new prospects when necessary and monitoring performance.
- Provide operational and technical support.
- Comply with database standards.
Required knowledge:
- Experience in fund management.
- Experience in a position where self-motivation, organisation and the ability to work under pressure are central.
- Market awareness.
- IT literacy (MS Office Suite).
- 2:1 finance related degree.
- CFA qualified
