A specialist financial services company based in Central London is seeking to hire a commercially minded Finance Director on a permanent basis to lead the finance function as the company embarks on the next stage of their growth.
This is a critical hire in which the successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team in providing advice and analysis to key stakeholders, partnering with them to influence decision making based on sound financial management principles, and understanding the story behind the numbers.
The successful candidate will have a financial services background (ideally mortgage lending / Real Estate finance) with broad experience covering financial reporting, funding, audit & tax.
Duties to include:
• Leading, developing and expanding the finance team
• Complete oversight of the day-today running of finance
• Business partnering closely with the CEO and other senior stakeholders to ensure the group hits its strategic milestones
• Responsible for all aspects of the group reporting (external, regulatory, audit and tax)
• Ensuring regular updates on financial performance of the group to senior stakeholders
• Ensuring profitability and control targets are met - implementing strategy to support growth ambitions
• Working with the Treasury team to implementing policy and cash flow management across multiple funding lines
To be considered, applicants will be ACA / ACCA qualified with experience gained within financial services, ideally mortgage lending in a regulated environment. This role will suit a strategic thinker with experience of successfully influencing and directing strategic development at a senior level. Candidates with a knowledge of CASS regulations are preferred.
