Description

One of the fastest growing property lenders in London are seeking to recruit a Financial Controller on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will report into the Financial Director and will be responsible for overseeing the finance and treasury team staff on a day to day basis. Candidates will have varied finance experience with the ability to produce financial reports and develop strategies based on financial research in order to guide senior executives in making sound business decisions. Candidates with a knowledge of CASS regulations are preferred.

Duties to include:

 

o         Responsible for the management of finance staff - allocating tasks/projects.

o         Produce financial reports and develop strategies based on financial research

o         Assist and guide senior executives in making sound business decisions

o         Implement financial reporting system to comply with industry standards and government regulations

o         Gathering & analysing financial data to identify cost reduction / revenue increasing opportunities.

o         Monitor the financial performance of the company - reviewing procedures and identifying areas for potential improvements

o         Suggest and implement updates for accounting, payroll and invoicing systems.

o         Develop and maintain relationship with stakeholders including banks, auditors, HMRC, 3rd party service providers, etc.

o         Present financial reports to board members, executives and staff in formal/informal meetings.

 

To be considered, applicants will be ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with experience gained within financial services, ideally mortgage lending in a regulated environment. This role will suit a candidate who thrives working in a fast-paced, growing company with excellent management experience and leadership skills.
