- To £150k + BONUS + BENSRare opportunity to join a specialist property lending banking group based in Central who are seeking to recruit a new Director of Credit Underwriting & Operations to spearhead their next phase of expansion and development. This role heads up the Development Finance lending area and takes responsibility for both the underwriting function and all the operational processes relating to the lending activities of the business. The Director will be responsible for the management, implementation and continuous development of back office systems and processes that underpin the businesses lending offering.Core Responsibilities" Portfolio Management - responsible for the credit management of the lending portfolio; preparation and analysis of credit papers, credit decision making etc." Undertake an active role in the management and development of all relevant internal and external stakeholders." Attend quarterly meetings of the businesses Credit & Risk sub-committee." Continually Evaluate the operational procedures and working practises to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.Candidates must be able to demonstrate a strong credit background in development finance from analysis through to credit decision making. In addition strong demonstrable leadership qualities will be required in order to take the team and bank to the next stage.
