Rapidly expanding Trading House is seeking a QUALIFIED Financial Accountant focussing on Revenue Accounting to join their Finance Department. You will be responsible for the preparation, control and reporting of financial accounting and regulatory information. Candidates must be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA). Candidates must have gained experience from a financial services environment.
Duties will include:
" Preparation of weekly, monthly and annual statutory financial statements, corporation tax returns, and to assist with the production of regulatory reports (FCA).
" Maintaining of SOX process documentation
" Assisting with the month-end financial process to include accruals, account analysis, account reconciliation, revenue accounting and prepayments
" Strong theory knowledge to include financial statement preparation and knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and US GAAP
Knowledge of UK & US GAAP, IFRS and SOX is essential. Candidates with experience of Oracle would be at an advantage.
