- Global financial services company based in the City are seeking to add to their finance team with the addition of an Accounts Receivable Cash Allocation Specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience at one of the world’s leading financial services companies and develop your own knowledge base. Candidates must have experience of working as a cash specialist within an accounts receivable function, preferably within financial services, but definitely from a global fast paced environment. Candidates must also be strong with excel – to include pivot tables and vlookups.
The role will involve:
- Daily processing and allocating cash received to appropriate clients and invoices in RMB.
- Monitoring and processing items highlighted on the Un-Reconciled Report.
- Assist in forensic analysis of aged items and on-account payments to ensure open items are identified.
- Participate in the financial close process including sub ledger to GL reconciliations
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail, organised and methodical
