- Global renowned trading house based in central London are looking for an experienced sales professional who has a proven track record within the hedge fund industry to develop and expand their UK & European business. This is a new area of focus within the company's core institutional sales business and are looking for a candidate with an excellent knowledge of derivatives and experience within the Hedge Fund market. To be considered, the successful candidate must have a network of contacts and be able to open doors to a new pool of prospects within the Hedge Fund space.
Duties to include:
" Develop and maintain an active portfolio of Institutional Clients focussing particularly on hedge funds
" To proactively self-source leads/prospects from own resources, events and relationships
" Responsible for generating and conducting face to face meetings with prospective clients
" Maintaining strong client relationships after initial funding, whilst acting as main point of contact for any customer enquires
" Ensure that company are following FCA practices
Our client is looking for a candidate with a strong affiliation in the hedge fund industry and who ideally has an existing book of clients. The successful candidate will be proactive in creating sales leads, with a high degree of professionalism and a background in institutional sales or similar.
