- Urgent requirement. Excellent opportunity has arisen within an Investment House based in the City for Custody Settlements / Reconciliations Officer for a contractual period until the end of June 2020. Rotating around investment operations the successful candidate will be responsible for equity settlements as well as cash / stock reconciliations, Corporate Actions and Client and Asset transfers.Duties to include matching appropriate reconciling items on the Company's nostro reconciliations, investigating and resolving the remaining reconciliation breaks with regular chasing of all past value date outstanding items, resolving unmatched settlement instructions, correcting or preparing manual settlement instructions and resolving queries from clients and counterparties. The role will also involve reviewing all open free transfers (delivery and receipt) of funds into/out of custody and ensure that all items more than 3 days past value date are chased with Fund Managers/Custodians and clients, assisting with the monthly reconciliation of security positions held.To be considered for this varied role candidates MUST have previous Equity Settlement, cash/stock reconciliations experience. Any knowledge of custody investigations would be a bonus. Applicants must be available to start at short notice.
