- An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Underwriters to join a boutique banking group based in the City. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with sales teams and direct communication with brokers to assess and underwrite new Bridging Finance applications in line with the company lending policy.
Duties to include:
- Underwrite and approve loans against agreed lending criteria
- Handling broker calls on specific cases under review; manage customer expectations
- Liaising with internal departments (Legal, Risk and Sales) and external parties (Surveyors, Solicitors and Customers) to effectively manage the lending process
