- Description
- An expanding property finance company based in Central London are seeking to recruit a seasoned Credit professional to lead their growing Credit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the underwriting team, coaching and encouraging knowledge gain. As such, a deep understanding of development and bridging finance, credit risk and regulated markets gained with a reputable institution is essential. Management experience is a must!
Duties to include -
- Proactively manage a pipeline of property finance applications from receipt to completion
- Good track record of understanding complex business requirements and making decisions considering potential long term risks and implications.
- Continually appraise staff training and development needs.
- Propose developments and enhancements to the lending policy.
- Regulatory governance- compliance with the lending and credit policies applicable to the business including management of large exposures and concentration risk
- a proven track record in leading a team responsible for the credit analysis / underwriting and decision making in a property finance company focusing on bridging and development finance transactions
- extensive experience in production/approval of facility/collateral documentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to positively influence stakeholders across all parts of the business.
