- Exciting new opportunity within a City-based international trading house has arisen for a FLUENT FRENCH speaking Treasury Officer to assist with FX Payments and investigations. The successful candidate will have solid experience of processing FX trades and conducting Nostro Recs Investigations gained within a banking or financial services background. Duties to include:
- Investigating nostro breaks and ensuring all post settlement investigations are resolved in a timely manner
- Reconciliation of payments
- Effecting payments in SWIFT
- Dealing with payment amendments in SWIFT and processing of selected payments
- Close liaison with front office and middle office
- Acting as a point of contact for Correspondent Bank and customer queries
- Dealing with return of funds
Applicants MUST have solid treasury /FX / payments investigations experience with a sound understanding of SWIFT messaging (MT202,103,199,299,210) and a customer-focussed approach to work. Fluency in FRENCH and ENGLISH is essential to this role.
