- City based International Bank have an URGENT requirement for 3 Trade Finance Officers on a contractual basis of 12 months, you will be responsible for:
- Processing of all letters of credit (import and export - issue, advise amend, acceptance, discount, payment, checking documents)
- Creating MT700, 710, 707. 799, 999 as required
- 1st or 2nd Check documents as required against LC terms
- Process Payments under Export/Import LCs, IRU claims, Collection
- Adhere to governing rules, UCP, URC, !SP98, HOP, procedures and all relevant controls.
- Liaising with Issuing banks, beneficiaries, correspondents, business development, treasury, credit, compliance on transactions.
- Initiating all types of LCs (Export /Import / Back to Back)
- Process Payments under Export/Import LCs, IRU claims, Collection
Essential Work Experience:
- Minimum 3 years experience working in a trade finance operations environment including checking shipping documents against UCP600, the LC itself and ISBP.
- Thorough understanding of all trade finance products, import and export LCs, collections and financing.
- Knowledge of money laundering controls relevant to trade finance.
