Description

An exciting opportunity to join a Hedge Fund start up based in the City of London! This is a multifaceted role for a down-to-earth, pragmatic Team Assistant in which you will be providing key instrumental support to the C-Suite (5 individuals in total) assisting with ongoing projects and helping to establish business administration processes, alongside traditional Team Assistant duties.

Responsibilities

  • Diary and email management
  • Scheduling meetings
  • Travel arrangements
  • Responding to all incoming emails, phone calls and other communications
  • Providing general admin assistance to the C-Suite, supporting with the production of client presentations, reports and other documents
  • Meeting and greeting visitors
  • Meeting preparation - preparing meeting rooms, agendas, taking meeting notes, following up on actions
  • Processing expenses
  • Involvement in ad hoc business and recruitment projects
  • Maintaining contact information
  • General research and analysis
  • Reorganising workflows to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Occasional office management duties, if needed

What We Are Looking For

  • Some recent, relevant experience in the financial sector in a similar role
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to effectively prioritise a workload and juggle conflicting priorities
  • Detail orientated, forward thinking and a problem solver
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexible approach to work, with a roll up your sleeves attitude

As this is newly-created position in a start up you will be required to adopt a very pragmatic approach to work and be prepared to 'wear several hats’ and 'get stuck in’ where needed.

Ideally we are looking for someone who is available to start immediately available or with a short notice period (maximum 4 weeks’ notice).

Please note that this role is entirely office based and there will be no remote working option available for this role.
