- URGENT REQUIREMENT. International Banking group based in the City is seeking to recruit a Client Services Lead to join their Trade Finance Department for a contractual period of 6 months. Providing a first-class service to clients and transactional counterparties, the successful candidate will be responsible for responding to queries and complaints, assisting with transaction execution and providing general support to relationship managers in relation to their clients.
What you will be doing:
- Attend meetings with RM
- Provide support to counterparties
- Support the onboarding of clients, conduct EDD and liaising with Compliance
- Provide credit support when required by conducting initial credit application via the credit system for subsequent credit analysis
- Effectively develop and manage relationships
- Update and maintain client static data in systems
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and refer to Relationship Managers
- Assist with process improvement and system enhancement projects as required as well as other ad hoc projects
What you will need:
- Previous industry experience in a client services / relationship management support position within trade finance is essential to this role
- Excellent knowledge of trade finance products and in particular LCs
- A solid understanding of the credit application process
- Experience of onboarding new accounts
