- A well-established international banking group based in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Customer Service Associate with fluent Cantonese language skills to join their team on a 12-month FTC. Working in-branch you will be responsible for assisting the Customer Service Manager with overseeing the day-to-day customer service operations of the branch & will perform customer due diligence for new customer onboarding and existing clients.
Duties to include:- To carry out customer KYC review for new and existing clients and prepare related reports covering customer profiles according to the bank’s procedure and in a timely manner
- To provide quality customer services in accordance with the Bank’s policy and procedures
- To have full understanding of the products and services before selling it to the customer
- Liaising with and supporting department heads within retail banking to ensure the retail function operates smoothly and a seamless service is delivered to customers
- Ensuring that compliance processes, regulatory requirements and internal standards are followed
- Monitor, develop and review operational procedures
- Ensure end of day cash reconciliation is completed with cashiers
- Review transactions for accuracy
- Produce monthly reports
- As a Senior Customer Service representative, your skills and qualifications will include:
- Proven experience in a Customer Service role within retail banking
- A broad knowledge of banking products, services, and regulations (KYC)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Cantonese
- Excellent problem-solving skills
