- Description
- URGENT REQUIREMENT. A Global Trading house is seeking an HR Advisor with sound SMCR experience join their growing team in the City. The Candidate will be joining a small but dynamic team and will be responsible for managing the SMCR framework as well providing more generalist support to the HR team.
Duties:
- Managing SMCR across the employee lifecycle from onboarding through to exit/handover
- Managing all relevant SMCR documentation (job descriptions, SoRs, training plans etc.)
- Managing regulatory reporting to FCA; (de)registration of SMFs and amendments, changes to SoRs, Notice of ceasing to perform, annual conduct rule return submissions etc.
- Oversee the Fit and Proper Certification process
- Maintain and develop relevant HR SMCR policies
- Accurately maintain records in HRIS system
- Work closely with Compliance Department on SMCR matters such as conduct rules and to develop training
- Keeping abreast of SMCR regulatory requirements ensuring that any changes are implemented
- Support the HR team with broader HR admin to include starters and leavers process, audit reports, preparation of letters and references etc.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
- CIPD qualification or equivalent experience.
- Educated to Bachelor's Degree level or equivalent, preferred.
- Solid knowledge and experience of the SMCR framework and its implementation
- Ability to work with staff at senior level, providing advice, guidance and challenging where necessary
