- Expanding International Bank is seeking to strengthen its Private Banking Team with the addition of a Relationship Manager. Working within a small team the successful candidate will be customer-focussed and understand and meet all aspects of private clients' financial requirements advising on a range of products covering wealth management, banking and lending services whilst remaining driven to grow and develop the client base further.
To be considered for this role you will have experience in conducting a similar role, dealing with HNW clients and will hold the IMC qualification.
Duties to include:
- Developing an understanding of clients’ needs, business, sources of wealth, goals and risk appetite
- Assessing and meeting clients’ specific and overall banking requirements and managing client expectations in order for them to achieve financial and investment goals
- Drawing up new credit and lending facilities
- Providing advice to customers on the full range of the Bank's products and, with the assistance of product specialists where necessary, explaining the products' uses, comparative advantages and risks and their associated operational and documentation requirements
- Regularly review each client's profile to ensure their changing needs are met, monitoring progress and making adjustments in order to achieve financial objectives
- Remaining up-to-date on market trends and related regulatory developments, ensuring that the Bank continues to address customer needs through product innovation and development
- Generating new business and maintaining an established portfolio - building new and existing relationships with clients, intermediaries etc.
To be considered for this role, applicants will be required to demonstrate a sound product knowledge and a proven record in developing business and cross-selling of services. Recent, relevant experience working as a private banker and/ or relationship manager for clients (on-shore and off-shore) and the IMC qualification are essential to this role.
