- Description
- City based Trading House is seeking a Treasury Operations Officer to support the wider Treasury Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates educated to degree-level, or the equivalent, in a maths, science, finance or accounting-related discipline (or similar) who wish to break into the Banking or Financial Services industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- The inputting, checking and releasing of payments by SWIFT, CHAPS as well as local payments, to deadlines
- Payments authorisation
- Daily bank reconciliations and resolution of outstanding items
- Payment investigations
- Assisting with opening closing of accounts – checking documentation and conducting KYC checks
- Distributing liquidity reports
- Dealing with queries
- Providing support to the Treasury Team
Applicants must possess excellent MS Office skills to include advanced Excel. This role will require a high level of accuracy, a keen attention to detail and the ability to think independently, problem-solve, use initiative and work to deadlines.
