- Description
- An excellent opportunity has arisen within a City-based international bank for an individual with Treasury Operations experience to join them for a contractual period of 12 months.
You will be responsible for the checking and release of all FX / MM payments and confirmations accurately and in a timely manner. Applicants must be able to demonstrate previous exposure to FX, MM, IRS, REPOs and securities.
Duties to include:
- Maintaining confirmation queues within the back office system and ensuring all items are actioned in a timely and appropriate manner
- Check and release of payments
- Advise of receipt of funds
- Checking and attaching Reuters Printouts and Broker Confirmations to MM and FX deals.
- Positioning and processing payments for Certificates of Deposits and Interest Rate Swaps.
- Resolving errors promptly
- Daily reconciliation of statements for Correspondent Banks.
- Agreeing positions and reconciling promptly
- Acting as a point of contact for Correspondent Bank and customer queries
- Trade / transaction reporting (EMIR, MiFID, SFTR)
To be considered for this opportunity applicants MUST demonstrate a thorough understanding of the relevant products together with associated reporting (EMIR, MiFID, SFTR). Previous treasury operations experience is essential. Applicants must be available for an immediate start or on short notice periods.
