Boutique investment management company based in central London are seeking to strengthen their Client Services function with the addition of a Client Services Manager. This is an exciting role for someone for someone who is passionate about the client experience.
This is a newly-created position where the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering best-in-class process transformation and technical improvement. It will suit someone with a keen client service focus and is able to look at existing processes and see where improvements can be made. Supporting the Client Services Director, you will analyse current processes and results, produce reports and put together and run projects for process and system upgrade / new system implementation from a technical improvement standpoint.
This role will eventually evolve to become the key project contact for the team with the postholder owning third-party provider relationships and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you will be doing:
- Providing support for the team’s IT improvement project to include development, testing, migration and ongoing improvement post-launch
- Provide support to the team with post-implementation ongoing enhancements or required developments due to business changes
- Support the ongoing day to day relationship with our service partners
- Assume joint responsibility for the CASS operations, procedures and review points alongside the Client Services Director once insourced
- Design and document new workflow procedures, ensure compliance with these and assume responsibility for required review points
- Provide ad hoc cover/support in the absence of the Client Services Director
- Act collaboratively with other Client Service Managers to contribute to the ongoing improvement of the area, the service given to clients and the business
Your skills and experience:
- Experience working on and/or managing projects, preferably IT / business change projects
- Overseeing/contributing to business change
- Experience of working in Financial Services industry – specifically in investment management / CASS operations would be highly desirable.
- Experience working in a client services environment
- Working with third party service providers
- Designing, writing and maintaining procedures
- Strong analytical skills
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLookups, pivot tables)
