- Description
- Renowned private banking organisation based in the City is seeking to recruit a Treasury Operations Manager, the purpose of the role will be to take responsibility for the trade lifecycle of all products traded by the Treasury team and to oversee the daily running of Treasury Operations Team including the responsibility for delivery of cost control, customer satisfaction and control/regulation.
What you will be doing:
- Daily collateral management and margin management review and reconciliation
- Actioning payments and receipts as required resolving any discrepancies
- Confirmation matching and deal release, investigating any discrepancies where necessary
- Exposure monitoring and managing and reporting any changes in risk profile of counterparties.
- Monitor deal settlement
- Verification of daily FX profits
- Ensuring payments and postings are made promptly and accurately, including purchase/sales, interest payments/receipts, swap principal, interest flows and margin payments
- Account reconciliations (Nostro / suspense/ control accounts)
- Update and maintain static and standing data held in treasury system
- Reporting to ALCO, on treasury and funding related information
- Maintenance of Treasury controls, policies and procedures; identifying and implementing enhancements to systems and processes.
- Represent Treasury Operations function on any key change initiatives and meetings
- Focus on working to improve controls and operational efficiencies.
- Lead, manage, develop and motivate small treasury team
Requirements for the role:
- Sound understanding of the trade lifecycle and trade settlement activity.
- Good Financial Markets awareness
- Analytical, innovative and enquiring approach and the ability to work autonomously and take initiative where required
- Experience working in a regulated environment
- Experience of leading a team of technical specialists to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
