- Description
- An exciting opportunity has arisen at a City-based international banking group for a Senior Credit Analyst. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of corporate & real estate clients, with exposure to the MENA and GCC markets.
Responsibilities to include -
- Analysing new corporate transactions using corporate credit analysis methodologies and analysing financial statements
- Writing credit applications, evaluating each credit on its own merit and providing quality recommendations on applications for both FIs and Corporate clients
- Deal related experience, form a view on credit aspects and structures.
- Presentation to the Credit Authorities on loan strategy
- Producing accurate corporate credit ratings, credit risk monitoring
- Identifying credit quality issues
- Reach out to the various external participants and internal departments of the bank
Requirements for the role:
- Experience gained at senior credit analyst level assessing contract finance, real estate finance and corporate banking applications. Experience of working on factoring / trade finance proposals would be advantageous.
- A sound understanding of FI and corporate business clients, economic sectors, macro-economic factors and related country risks
- International, GCC or MENA experience preferred
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
