Description
Leading, global financial trading organisation based in the City is strengthening it’s Information Security Department with the addition of a Cyberfraud Engineer. Merging traditional antifraud duties with cybersecurity-focussed responsibilities the successful candidate will be tasked with working on the following:
 
  • Threat modelling – working to understand TTPs and build intelligence workflows
  • Payment Security Architecture – identifying payment channels and tools and advising on architecture, security controls, and fraud prevention
  • Collecting data and building analytical models to detect and prevent anomalous transactions or precursors
  • Developing payment controls
  • Maintaining an inventory of payment platforms, ensuring required security features are provided including reviewing portal access and acting as administrator
 
 
Educated to degree level, or the equivalent in Engineering, or related discipline, the ideal candidate will have proven cyber threat / intelligence experience gained from either a financial services organisation or an organisation that provides intelligence / cyber security services together with the following:
 
  • Cyber security / fraud experience covering SWIFT transactions / high value payments / threat modelling
  • Experience scripting / programming, Python preferred. SWIFT messaging experience would be a bonus
  • Experience with automating intelligence workflows
  • Experience supporting an advanced software development organization
  • Experience working with a number of the following technologies:  SWIFT, Fedwire, ACH, Bitcoin, Cryptocurrency, Analytics, Payment Controls, Insider Threat, Python, Threat Intelligence Platforms (TIP), STIX/TAXII, MISP.
