- An exciting new opportunity has arisen within a thriving City-based trading house for Payroll Advisor with experience of using Oracle for Payroll to join them for a contractual period of 6 months to cover maternity. Working within a small but busy HR Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and processing of the monthly payroll and will have the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team. This is a hybrid-working role with the successful candidate working 1-2 days per week in the office.
Duties to include:
" Preparation, inputting and checking of the monthly UK and Ireland payroll through to preparation of payment files (including setting up new starters and leavers, tax code changes, entering deductions etc.)
" Employee benefits administration
" Maintenance of annual leave and absence records
" Production of reports including quarterly annual leave reports and monthly pension reports
" Act as first point of contact for all payroll-related queries and resolve any discrepancies
" Maintaining accurate payroll and employee data
" Tax year end documentation
To be considered for this position applicants must demonstrate recent relevant payroll processing experience together with experience using Oracle for Payroll. Applicants will must have a keen customer focus with advanced MS Word and Excel skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to work as part of a small team as well as autonomously.
