- Due to rapid expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a smart, articulate and organised graduate with a year’s Financial Services work experience to support the underwriting and loans operations activities of the business. A typical day for you could include assisting with underwriting bridging loans, case management, maintaining loan information in systems, liaising with solicitors and brokers etc. In return you will be trained in loans operations and eventually loan underwriting.

Duties to include:
- Assisting relationship managers with admin tasks particularly in preparing credit files, arranging valuations, making attendance notes
- Handling broker calls on specific cases under review; manage customer expectations
- Understanding and analysing key items such as credit searches, property portfolio, bank statements, financial accounts, and security valuations to make lending decisions
- Ensuring the loan book is updated frequently on the company's databases and systems
- Assisting with preparing offer documentation and ensuring all loan conditions are met throughout the drawdown process
- Liaising with internal departments (Legal, Risk and Sales) and external parties (Surveyors, Solicitors and Customers) to effectively manage the lending process
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A minimum of a 2:1 degree together with at least a year of Financial Services work experience
- A true interest in Financial Services with a desire to learn
- Excellent communication skills
- High levels of motivation and integrity
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- An excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Be able to operate with urgency and prioritise work accordingly
