- Excellent opportunity has arisen within this expanding international bank in central London for a Loan Securities Assistant. The successful applicant will have at least two years working within the Banking / Financial Services industry, preferably within some lending / credit exposure and will have fluent Cantonese language skills.
Working to support the Loan Securities Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that supporting documentation for loans is in compliance with the terms of credit. You will be a point of contact within the bank when executing, maintaining and releasing loans. Candidates who are CeMAP (Level 3) qualified or equivalent will be at a distinct advantage.
Duties to include:
- Preparation of relevant documentation for the release or transfer of the loan ensuring all bank regulations are adhered to
- Ensure the database is maintained and updated frequently
- Instruct and liaise with lawyers and valuers
- Checking of insurance documentation
- Providing quality assurance by ensuring any errors or areas of weakness are resolved in a timely manner
- Ensure all documentation is filed / scanned / archived appropriately
- Deal with any requirements post-drawdown
- Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to when conducting tasks
Applicants must be degree-educated (or the equivalent) with fluent Cantonese language skills (written and verbal). You will demonstrate strong analytical skills with a methodical and conscientious approach to work.
