- Senior Internal Auditor (Global Trading)Up to £70k + bonus + benefitsAn exciting opportunity has opened up in a specialist global trading house for an Internal Auditor to join a team with responsibility for several global entities. The successful candidate will have previous internal audit experience gained within the financial services industry.As an Internal Auditor, you will be joining a team responsible for conducting independent reviews of various operational entities across the global business. Throughout the audit process you will be required to establish the level of compliance of the entity's operations, the level of risk incurred, the enforcement of procedures and the effectiveness of the control set up.What you will be doing:" Undertake risk-based business audits as per the annual audit plan" Plan and lead audit assignments, covering the bank's various departments and subsidiaries." Review and ensure related internal controls are implemented and operating effectively and efficiently through execution of audit assignments." Identify risk and control functions and develop appropriate audit plans to address said risk areas." Identify report and solve audit issues with management." Check the adequacy of the accounting systems for recording and protecting the company's assets and liabilities and contingent commitments." Document audit issues and all work papers in standard formats and perform operational debriefs to auditees" Follow up outstanding audit recommendations until implementation.Requirements:University Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines advantageous.Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIA or related qualification would be advantageousAudit experience within financial institutions, or exposure to the industry a mustThis vacancy is being advertised by Montpellier Resourcing Limited.
