- A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a City-based wealth manager for a degree-educated (or equivalent) individual who is pragmatic and driven and wishes to develop a career in HR. This role has arisen at an exciting time of growth and expansion for the company where development opportunities will be numerous. The role will be on a hybrid working basis of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. It is essential that applicants are available for an immediate start for work / at short notice.
Working within a supportive and friendly team you will be responsible for a varied workload which will include the following;
- New Joiner Process - prepare induction packs and add new joiners to relevant systems.
- Pre-employment screening
- Leavers Process - produce leaver letters, organise exit interviews, update relevant systems
- Payroll and benefits administration, liaising with the payroll provider
- Supporting the recruitment process - arranging interviews, placing job adverts, screening applications etc.
- Maintain accurate employee records and organisation charts
- Working on ad hoc projects as required
In order to be considered for this role, candidates must have a genuine interest in a career in HR and be educated to degree level (2:1, or equivalent). The successful candidate will also be a confident, articulate individual with first class written and spoken English and excellent organisational skills. This role offers a great opportunity for those who wish to break into the HR field in a dynamic and successful company. Applicants MUST be available to start at very short notice (max. 1 week).
