- City based international Banking group, is looking for a dynamic individual looking to join their Fixed Income & Currencies Team. Candidates will have a solid experience within a similar settlements role covering the settlement of FX and MM transactions and demonstrate a genuine wish to expand their product knowledge and learn derivatives.
There is hybrid working available for this role of 3 days per week in the office and the remainder working from home. This is a great opportunity to broaden your knowledge within the field as cross-training will be provided in order to offer periodic cover where needed to the broader Team.
Duties to include:
- Ensuring confirmations are produced, authorised and issued to customers in a timely manner
- Confirmations with queries are raised with dealers or counterparty (as appropriate) and differences resolved in a timely manner - escalate all outstanding items over a certain period to management
- Monitoring Front Office / Back Office reconciliation and resolving any issues with Trade Support
- Performing daily cash reconciliations of all outstanding cash exceptions
- Ensure that all the static data including SSIs are validated and maintained
- Liaising with counterparties regarding any cash non-receipts
- Ensure that the daily activity of trades is checked, reconciled and reported to management as required
- Client query management
- Working with Ops Control with regards to incident management
- Continuous improvement of all processes and procedures ensuring these are reviewed and updated at regular intervals
- Producing daily MI reports
- Participating in project work as required
