Up to £65k + benefits + bonus
Rapidly expanding City based Trading House is seeking to strengthen their Enterprise Risk Management Department with the addition of a Technology Risk Analyst. The successful candidate will be working to assist with the oversight and implementation of the risk framework as part of the second line of defence, by assessing and responding to the business impacts of technology risks.
Duties to include:
- Contributing to the maintenance of the risk framework (including risk register, risk appetite metrics, management thresholds, Risk and Controls Self-Assessment (“RCSA”)).
- Providing expert advice on technology risk related matters and areas that need evaluation or improvement.
- Ensuring that the first line is able to manage technology risks by appropriately challenging first line functions.
- Consistently contributing to risk identification and horizon scanning including maintaining industry awareness, best practice insights, regulatory and technological developments.
- Assist with high-quality risk reporting fully utilising data available to provide further insight.
- Supporting the wider team in assessments across the whole business and beyond technology risk.
The successful candidate will have:- University degree educated (or equivalent), preferably in a STEM subject
- Experience in financial services, preferable FMI
- Experience in risk management
- Knowledge of technology frameworks and practices, such as COBIT5
- Experience of data modelling and visualization (tableau preferable)
- Certifications such as CRISC, CISM, IRM desirable
