Up to £95k + bonus
An exciting opportunity has arisen in a specialist global trading house for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join their Cyber Security Architecture team. The team works within a highly regulated financial environment to defend and implement the company’s essential platforms, ensuring that they are reliable and highly available.
Duties to include:- Security Analytics: designing and maintaining security data flow from network endpoints.
- Behavioral Analysis: including limiting suspicious activity and insider threats.
- Intrusion Detection and Prevention: Maintaining wired and wireless infrastructure, adjusting rules to limit false positives, and consistently being up-to-date with new threats.
- Content Filtering and Advanced Threat Protection.
- Visualization: to include identifying anomalies and sourcing solutions, identifying trends, compressing event triage, and understanding data flows.
Requirements:- University degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, MIS, CIS or related
- 5+ years’ experience
- Experience working within financial services desirable
- Significant hands-on experience with Systems Administration and/or IP Networking
- Experience with software testing
