- Description
- Renowned global PR company are seeking to recruit an EA / Support Team Manager to their central London operations. The position is split into two parts with the successful candidate responsible for:
- the management and development of the support team made up of c. 21 support staff (80% of the role)
- providing EA support to the partners 20% of the role
This role offers hybrid working of 2-3 days per week in the office and an excellent benefits package including discretionary bonus scheme.
What you will be doing day-to-day:

Managing a team of 21 Assistants (administrators, PA’s etc.)
- Act as the first point of contact for the business in respect to any support team matters
- Training, developing, mentoring
- Conducting 1-2-1’s and appraisals, managing performance issues
- Tracking staff resources and capacity, overseeing workloads and allocating admin support staff to new hires and client mandates, as required
- Assist with team recruitment and onboarding of new team members
- Organise team events/socials

EA to Senior Partners
- Diary and inbox management
- Producing presentations and documentation
- Organising international travel itineraries including visas
- Organising corporate events and entertainment
- Processing expenses and timesheets
- Some ad hoc personal support
- Attend weekly update meeting and record updates
What you will need to be successful in this role:
- Previous EA experience, ideally gained with a PR firm although other professional services or corporate organisation considered
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment where working styles vary
- Experience managing a team of assistants or support staff
- Emotional intelligence
- Discretion and diplomacy
- Excellent organisational and administration skills.
- A keen attention to detail with a high standard of English (written and verbal)
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- An ability to multi-task, manage conflicting priorities and work proactively and independently
- An ability to quickly build relationships both internally and externally at all levels
