Boutique investment management company based in St. Helier is strengthening it's compliance function with the addition of an AML Officer. The successful applicant will have advanced MS Excel skills and some previous AML experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with required skills who wishes to upskill within the compliance arena as the hiring manager will happily train the successful candidate in any areas where you may have gaps in your knowledge.
The purpose of the role will be to assist the AML Manager and MLRO with regards to the oversight and delivery of AML systems and controls and protect against Money Laundering.
What the AML Officer will be doing day-to-day:
- Assisting with high-risk reviews, overnight screening and portfolio transaction activity
- Conducting AML searches
- Transaction monitoring
- Trigger events reviews
- Responding to AML queries and dealing with CDD/EDD and SoF/SoW enquiries
- Preparing Management Information
- Support the AML Manager with the Financial Crime Compliance Monitoring Plan
- Testing systems and controls and provide data for analysis
