Cyber Security Manager, International Banking

Up to £70,000 plus benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen within an International Banking group in Central London for a Cyber Security Manager to join their IT Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the resilience and security of the bank’s cyber and computing environment, enabling the bank to protect all confidential information belonging to their customers and employees and comply with regulatory requirements.

Duties will include:
  • Designing and developing security processes, devices and software which will ensure the security of systems and confidential information.
  • Regularly conducting inspections of network processes and systems to provide security updates.
  • Performing security risk assessments and reporting on any threats detected. This will also involve consistently monitoring any security vulnerabilities and hacking threats.
  • Working with numerous information sources and providing senior management with accurate data analysis reports.
  • Keeping up-to-date with knowledge of the latest cyber security technologies, and having awareness of new security innovations being developed within the field.
  • Educating and empowering other members of the IT Security team to build a positive working environment and meet security goals.

Requirements for the role:
  • University degree, or equivalent, in computer science, information systems or another related field.
  • Professional experience working within a regulated environment such as banking or financial services.
  • Familiarity with industry-recognized frameworks (such as: COBIT, FFIEC CAT, NIST CSF).
  • Professional certifications preferred (e.g. CISSP, CISA, CRISC).
