- A great new opportunity has arisen within a City-based Private Bank for a Payments Officer for a 12-month contractual period. Working within the Banking Operations Department, the successful candidates will be responsible for the processing of CHAPS, SWIFT and Faster Payments.This role offers hybrid working with at 2 days working in the office. This is a full-time position (35 hours per week) which will inlcude 1 weekend per month, plus Bank Holidays.Duties include:
- Inputting / checking / release of payments
- Credit clearing
- Payment investigations
- Foreign cheque collection and outward payments
- Checking Standing Orders and Direct Debit origination.
To be considered for this role candidates must have previous SWIFT, CHAPS and Faster Payments processing experience, demonstrate a keen eye for detail and be able to work effectively to strict deadlines.
