Rapidly expanding City based Trading House is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join their Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) team. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be working within the team to defend critical financial infrastructure from Global Cyber threats.
Duties as Cybersecurity Analyst to include:
- Security Analytics: effectively and efficiently refine information from large data sets which can be actioned for hunting, reporting and anomaly detection.
- Threat Hunting: Acting proactively to create and develop strategies to discover any cybersecurity threats that might risk evading traditional security controls.
- Incident Management: Responsible for detecting, documenting, and resolving any security breaches efficiently. This will also involve constructing incident timelines from forensic artifact analysis.
- Behavioral Analysis: developing criteria and systems which can then be used to identify any atypical behaviors displayed by users across the cyber infrastructure which may indicate a threat to the cybersecurity.
Required experience:
- University degree (or equivalent) in Cybersecurity, or a related subject.
- Professional working experience using Windows and Linux.
- At least 1 year of relevant professional experience in a related role.
