An exciting opportunity has arisen within an International Banking group based in Manchester for a Business Officer to support the Branch and Business Managers deliver a professional customer service role to prospective and existing clients The role is incredibly diverse and varied and is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow and develop their career withing the Banking sector. To be considered for this role, candidates must have fluent Cantonese and Mandarin language skills.
Duties as a Business Officer will include:
- Control KYC / account opening process in compliance with the guidelines
- Keep a proper record of KYC documentation
- Review any irregularity found in the process and escalate to management
- Check the accuracy and quality of information provided
- Mitigate risk for the bank by risk assessment
- Control business relationships against AML, terrorist financing, financial sanctions & embargoes
- Prepare credit facility proposals
- Prepare reports for credit underwriting, risk review, assessment and control
- Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set
- Adhere to risk control guidelines
- Fluent in Mandarin & Cantonese
- University Graduate
- Min of 3 years experience within the banking industry
