An EXCITING OPPORTUNITY has arisen to join a RAPIDLY EXPANDING FinTech Payments company in their London office. As the Compliance / Regulatory Reporting Manager, you will be assisting the Head of Compliance and MLRO to oversee their regulatory compliance function, capturing the various projects and challenges that are key to the business. The successful candidate will have proven experience as a Compliance Officer and experience in risk management and regulatory reporting. This role is entirely office-based, 5 days a week.
Duties of the Compliance / Regulatory Reporting Manager Officer:
- FCA regulatory compliance reporting and submissions.
- EMI licence management.
- Keeping the business advised of regulatory changes and providing training where necessary
- Producing client-based risk assessments and ensuring that periodic reviews are conducted on existing clients. You will also act as a point of escalations for any high-risk clients.
- FCA RegData regulatory reporting.
- Conducting daily transaction monitoring and data validation. You will also be identifying and reviewing transactions that have exceeded set thresholds.
- Assisting the MLRO with the preparation and report and case submissions to Risk Committees.
- Onboarding new customers. This will involve conducting KYC and AML compliance checks and ensuring that this occurs in line with the Company’s policies and procedures.
Requirements for the successful Compliance / Regulatory Reporting Manager:
- BSc/BA/BCom in Law, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
- Solid experience of regulatory reporting.
- Previous experience as a Compliance Officer or Senior Compliance Analyst, alongside experience in risk management.
- Sound knowledge of legal requirements, FCA Guidance, industry practices and data protection standards.
